FIAMPACK has taken advantage of the technological and educational advances in Asia. Our partners have long been established with innovative design and manufacturing. China has emerged as not just a source for manufacturing but also offers development and the ability to cross over technologies from other industries.
All designs on 3D and 2D are made at FIAMPACK NY. Our factory receives the 3D file, a SLA part and the 2D drawing before they commence any tooling. More than half of FIAMPACK staff and all the Hong Kong staff are engineers. Our Chinese facility has degreed engineers in all areas - design, CAD, project management and quality control.
The combined strategies of complete US parts design and development, engineers at all tiers (US, HK office, factory), plus the goal of focusing at what we are good at, allow FIAMPACK to offer superior speed-to-market in the form of fast development, low lead time on tooling parts that are designed to be assembled with ease in Asia or at fillers in Europe or the US.

One of Fiampack’s latest tools to aid our customers development time and our plant’s tooling is the addition of a 3D printer. A 3D printer is a printer that can print physical parts in a matter of hours. Our 3D file can be sent to this network printer almost the same way a regular data file is sent to a conventional printer. Instead of ink cartridges, it has a reel of ABS that prints a 3 dimensional physical part that is functional, can be machined and even plated.
